We will film you in an interview style, or let you 'present' off the cuff if you are comfortable with that.

The whole process may be filmed in a single location such as your current home, with you telling your story. Photographs of your special memories may be overlaid to make the story more interesting & meaningful.

In the example to the right, Gwen tells her life story to camera, from her home with a collection of photos & memorabilia to fill in the picture. This clip is just a sample, the whole video is 25 minutes long.

Alternatively, we can film you at a number of locations such as where you were born, grew up, were married, lived the majority of your life before retirement, etc. It may be just 'you' or include you spouse, even children, to make it a more complete documentary of your life.

Short excerpts may be edited, either with your direction, or at a later stage & in cooperation with your family, to be presented during the final celebration of your life in the context of a Eulogy. This provides an amazing impact on those present when 'you' can present your own life story, on the screen right in front of those gathered!

The example to the right was cut down for the purpose of the Celebration of Percy's life (funeral). The whole autobiography video is about an hour & includes the growing up years of both Percy & June, as well as their life together, in a lot more detail.

As a funeral director, I see many different ways that families pay homage to their loved ones. Eulogies and musical slide shows are fairly common and are an effective method of reflection.

It was not until recently that I witnessed something very special. It was an autobiographical multimedia production (Life Story Video) told by a Grandfather a few years before he passed away. The reaction of those gathered at the funeral was amazing. Everyone's attention was fixed on the screen as they listened intently to every word spoken. Not only was this video an emotional tribute at the funeral, it will remain a valuable historical record for the generations to come.

Paul not only produced this very professional video, but also filmed the entire funeral service which has been a great help for the widow to be able to reflect upon a day that is difficult to absorb at the time.
