Capture your special day to video using high quality HD 3CCD digital cameras

Unobtrusive - no 'in your face' videographer, or distracting running around & getting in everyone's way. Paul has a reputation of capturing moments even the bride & groom cannot remember happening, without being obtrusive.

Attention to detail - close-ups capturing the ring sliding on the fingers & the lips uttering those sacred vows. Our high quality optical zoom lens can capture the detail from a distance so as to not be running around all over the place, or in your face with the camera during the ceremony.

Stability & picture quality - it is important to use a quality tripod system for the most stable quality images & a high quality camera - do not rely on a shaky hand held home handy-cam.

To Light, or not to Light ...

We use very low light capable 3CCD cameras - suitable in many situations without ruining the atmosphere with additional lighting.

We will add subtle additional lighting to enhanced the picture quality where it is really necessary,

Or go the full bit with thousands of watts of light when it is needed.

Hear every word with high quality audio equipment

You will hear every word from the Bride, Groom & Celebrant with a wireless lapel microphone on the Groom.

The surrounding crowd & ambient sound is picked up with a highly sensitive directional (shotgun) microphone on the camera or separate stand.

Where possible, a direct connect to an in-house sound system mixing console is made providing a clean copy of the whole audio system. In this case, either the lapel mic or shotgun would also be used.

Photographing the photography!

Your (stills) photo album will be an absolute treasure, but your video will vitalise the moment that great shot was taken & capture the fun for all time. Paul shoots not just a repeat of the posed portraits, but candidly captures how it all happened, including the photographer & those not in the portrait photo.

How else can you SEE and HEAR the laughter & excitement you all experienced on that special day.

These clips are taken from several weddings over a period of a couple of years up to 2006. They were shot using a CANON XM2 camera. (3CCD, Standard Definition 4x3 screen)

I am now shooting in High Definition widescreen with a Canon XH-A1 camera.

Fully Personalised Wedding DVD with Custom Menu

A DVD Menu is created with a number of 'Chapters' at key points in the program, which you can jump directly to from the menu.

The DVD disk surface is also personally designed using photos or images from the video, & printed directly to the disk surface in full colour.

The DVD is packaged in a clear plastic 'Hollywood' case with paper slip, full colour  printed both sides with photos & images from the day, inside & out. A list of chapter titles would be included inside.

The Wedding Ring

Get that nice close shot of the ring going on the finger, without being obtrusive, thanks to a powerful optical zoom of my camera, or even better with a 2 camera shoot which allows 1 to be close up while the other covers a wider shot.

Of course we catch every word from the couple & celebrant with the high quality wireless microphone worn by groom.

The Photo Shoot

The Photo Shoot is one of the exciting & fun parts of your special day. The formal ceremony is over, you can relax & have fun. At Pauls Productions we do not take over & monopolise this time, although we may make creative suggestions to the couple & photographer given the different focus of video to still photography. We will capture the activity & excitement & creatively present it as a memory of just what really went on!
